The Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub
There are 40 Maths Hubs across England offering locally-based professional development. If you teach Maths in a state-funded school or college in England, your school is already served by a Maths Hub, which is able to support you by offering fully-funded CPD. The Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub serves North and North East Lincolnshire. Each Maths Hub is led by a dedicated team of Maths specialists (many of whom still teach regularly) and has a highly skilled network of accredited LLMEs (Local Leaders of Mathematics Education). Speakers for Schools Initiative
Founded in 2010 by ITV’s Political Editor, Robert Peston, the aim is to end educational inequality by giving all young people access to the same prestigious networks available to the top fee-paying schools in the UK. And the services to schools and students are entirely free of charge.
