The Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub
There are 40 Maths Hubs across England offering locally-based professional development. If you teach Maths in a state-funded school or college in England, your school is already served by a Maths Hub, which is able to support you by offering fully-funded CPD. The Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub serves North and North East Lincolnshire. Each Maths Hub is led by a dedicated team of Maths specialists (many of whom still teach regularly) and has a highly skilled network of accredited LLMEs (Local Leaders of Mathematics Education). NHS Approved Sleep Resources - Key Stage 2
Knowing what steps we can take to support our mental wellbeing can help us feel better, sleep better and have better relationships with the people around us. Our flexible and accessible NHS approved Sleep resources were created for teachers, by teachers, to spark discussion among young people about the physical and mental benefits of sleep. Featuring videos co-created by young people, our resources include engaging, bite-sized activities and advice on how to get a good night's sleep. Like all our resources, these lessons support Relationships Education and Health Education. CIEC Searchable Directory
We are excited to launch our new search facility, making it easy for teachers to find science activities for a particular year group, topic or area of working scientifically. Activities continue to be part of industry stories, and can now also be located and taught as standalone lessons. We will continue to refine and add to this area throughout the year, and we therefore welcome your feedback on its usefulness to you.

The Association for Science Education’s Primary Science journal, featuring the work of the Centre for Industry Education Collaboration (CIEC) Is FREE for all to download. Children Challenging Industry Programme in the Humber launching January 2021 for Year 5 and 6
The Children Challenging Industry (CCI) programme is for year 5 and 6 students. The programme will be running across the Humber region, led by the Centre for Industry Education Collaboration (CIEC) based at the University of York, in partnership with CATCH and our industrial partners. The learning experience is linked to industrial storylines and encourages children to understand the uses and implications of science, including the variety of roles in science and engineering.
